A twiner. Stem 0.1 – 0.4 cm or more in diameter, outer bark brown to dark brown. Leaves alternate, simple, entire, young stem orbicular, cordate when mature, apex bluntly acute, base peltate to shallowly cordate when mature; blade 4.8 – 5.5 cm long, 5.6 -8.5 cm broad; petiole 3.5 – 7.5 cm long, 0.1 – 0.3 cm in diameter.; venation palmately netted, actinodromous with 5 prominent nerves. Inflorescence axillary cymes. Fruit drupe, subglobose.
